Following the finding and data analyse part, I find many problems are much more complex than they seemed to be, many factors can affect the running of the whole system. To develop this system, there is need to understand these factors and realise these problems. Thus, in the final part of this research, I will present the main findings and explore the reasons.
The results could be divided into five aspects. Firstly, there are problems in the common courses. From my research, I find we need to improve the teaching of common courses and students’ recognition to the common courses. This problem reflects the situation of the common courses. From the students’ side, they need to realise the importance of common courses, from the teachers’ side，they need to stimulate students’’ interest in common courses and establish appropriate recognition to common courses. Secondly，Specialised courses, including both the large sized and small sized courses, also have problems. Most of students' requirements focus on the demand for more guidance from teachers. The reason for this lies in the national situation and educational situation in the current China, China has a large population, and in order to improve nation's quality, universities keep expanding, so there are not enough teachers. Therefore, there are a lot of large sized classes, which cause inconvenience to those students who are above or below the average students at academic performance. But the problem is, small sized classes are not the main form of teaching in music normal universities in China. The above two problems means that both common courses and specialised courses need to improve in the system, because they haven't play all the roles they should and the goals of setting these courses haven't realised. Thirdly，this situation needs an solution that enhances the relationship between the common courses and the specialised courses. To this point, I have to say：From my research, I find in the Chinese higher normal universities’ music teacher training system, the relationship between the common courses and the specialised courses is not very obvious and not very close. As a result, from the side of the teachers and researchers，they need to pay more attention to this situation and help the students understand the importance of the relationship between the common courses and the specialised courses so that they could improve their study level and moreover, improve the students’ all-round qualification. Fourthly, in my research, I find students still need to cultivate and improve their ability to practice and as for the curriculum; the situation needs a reform that pays more attention to the principle of relating theories to practices. This situation reflects that the theory is out of joint with practices. For example, the curriculum of educational internship, in the research it is found that many problems exist, such as too short internship duration and not enough guidance from teachers. The causes of these problems could be explained as the goal of the curriculum reforms and the insufficient execution of the guiding policy, in the real practices, more attention should be paid to improving students’ teaching ability. Finally, students' comprehensive quality should be improved. From the aspect of cultivating qualified future music teachers for primary and middle schools, qualified graduates should be utility players, they should be able to adapt themselves to various work in the schools such as teaching ,theoretical research, choreography, appreciation, hosting, singing, music executing and basic compositions. Other problems also need to be concerned, such as the curriculum, the structure of students' ability and the problems in internship. These new findings need to be concerned by more scholars so that problems could be solved by more teachers and more students could benefit and learn better.
